Hello!

I’m James, the Office Manager here at Aspire. I’ve been with the company nearly three years now, and what a journey it has been!

I originally grew up in the small Bristol Suburb of Portishead and having made the move to London, then back to Bristol into Bedminster, have recently gone back to my home town to be closer to friends and family, which is something really important to me. I live with my better half Amy, and our loveable little cockerpoo Bobby.

In my spare time, I like to enjoy sports in general with Formula 1 & rugby being my favourites to follow and recently had the privilege of watching two England matches at the rugby world cup in France, which was a fantastic experience.

Sometimes I feel the need for speed, and in order to satisfy this, I have a motorbike license and love the freedom this gives me when I manage to get out on the open road. One day I would love to travel through Europe on a motorbike and see more of the world on two wheels.

When I holiday, I like to chill by the pool, or on the beach with a cold drink in my hand and read a book, but also love sailing the Greek islands. My parents are keen sailors and every other year charter a yacht and is something that gives me huge pleasure when I am able to join them. It’s something I strongly recommend people try, as there is nothing quite like it.

What were you doing before joining Aspire To Move?

I’ve worked in letting for 10 years now and I really don’t know where the time has gone. My first job was in Bristol and took the plunge, moved to London, and worked there for 3 years. After that I moved back to the west country where I got a job in Bath and the pull of this beautiful city has kept me here.

Your journey to Aspire To Move

I had the pleasure of working with Will & Caroline as they were my managers in previous employment. I popped in one day to their new Aspire office one day whilst out on my motorbike, just to wish them a Merry Christmas, in 2020. After that fateful visit, I came away with a puppy and was offered a job early 2021 and started in March.

What’s your favourite thing about working with Aspire To Move?

There are so many great things about working for this amazing company, its hard to name just one, but I must say that working with such a dedicated and focused team really does make coming to work a pleasure. Will and Caroline made the foundations for the business success which has come so far and being part of tha tjourney is really special to me.
